Job Requirements

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Completed background check
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Availability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Prior cooking experience in hotel or similar fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or related hotel cooking experience preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of line cooking experience preferred
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform all basic cooking duties
  • Able to work independently at a single kitchen station
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts including mornings and evenings

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes and hotel standards
  • Work single stations within the kitchen efficiently
  • Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation
  • Assist with food inventory and stock management
  • Adapt to flexible work schedules including holidays and weekends
