Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- two years relevant kitchen or banquet experience or equivalent education
- one to three years supervisory experience
- American Culinary Federation certification preferred
- current Food Handlers Card
- proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- strong communication skills
- ability to analyze food costs and budgets
- demonstrated leadership and team-building skills
- ability to maintain high work standards
- capacity to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
- able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- willingness to work in fast-paced kitchen environment
- commitment to safety and cleanliness
- ability to interact professionally with staff and guests
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- two years of experience as a banquet chef, chef de cuisine, or kitchen supervisor or equivalent education
- one to three years of supervisory experience
- preferred certification from American Culinary Federation
- current Food Handlers Card
- computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office
- ability to read and interpret food service industry periodicals
- ability to understand standardized recipe formats
- ability to write reports and correspondence
- effective verbal communication skills
- ability to calculate food costs and understand profit and loss
- strong planning, problem-solving, delegation, and communication skills
- excellent written and verbal communication
- attention to detail and accuracy
- ability to make independent decisions
- able to work under pressure and multi-task
- flexible schedule availability including evenings and weekends
Job Duties
- communicate core values and mission to support company goals
- plan menus and create purchase orders

- collaborate with Banquet Manager on guest counts and budgets
- oversee kitchen equipment and food preparation techniques
- respond to manager and customer concerns

- supervise staff in accordance with policies
- maintain safe and clean working environment
