Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two or more years as a banquet chef in a luxury hotel environment
- Five or more years in a culinary leadership role
- Experience in fine dining
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop creative menus
- Guest-facing experience
- Ability to manage multiple parties simultaneously
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Two or more years as a banquet chef in a luxury hotel environment
- Five or more years in a culinary leadership role
- Experience in fine dining
- Highly creative with the ability to develop custom menus
- Personable with a good guest-facing demeanor
- Ability to work well with others and collaborate on mutual goals
- Union experience is a plus
Job Duties
- Manage the banquet culinary team with consistency and integrity
- Work in concert with the culinary leadership on special events and promotions
- Work with sales on creating special menus and custom requests
- Work with the banquet team on ensuring perfect event execution
- Create seasonal menus and offerings as instructed
- Perform other duties as assigned
