Job Requirements
- Culinary degree preferred
- Minimum four years banquet production experience with supervisory duties
- Ability to manage and lead kitchen staff
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work holidays, weekends and alternate shifts
- Capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Job Duties
- Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates ensuring performance in accordance with brand and hotel standards
- Supervise production and preparation of food items for banquet functions according to banquet event order forms
- Requisition and order food and products to meet banquet event order specifications
- Create recipes for banquet and catered functions and train staff to produce banquet food accurately
- Maintain budgeted food cost
- Manage staffing levels to meet guest satisfaction and labor cost objectives
- Maintain inventory control procedures to meet food production requirements
- Ensure safe storage of food to minimize waste and meet food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of banquet kitchen facilities
- Ensure kitchen staff has necessary certification, licensing and training
- Practice safe work habits following MSDS and OSHA standards
- Perform other duties as requested by management
