Job Requirements

  • Culinary arts degree or equivalent professional training
  • minimum of three years in banquet culinary leadership
  • minimum of five years progressive culinary experience
  • ServSafe Food Safety Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
  • ability to recruit, train, and mentor culinary staff
  • experience in high-volume banquet event execution
  • strong food safety compliance
  • excellent communication and organizational skills
  • proficiency with labor and food cost management
  • passion for quality and creativity

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years in a culinary leadership role within private club, luxury hotel, or upscale catering environment
  • minimum of five years of progressive culinary experience
  • proven experience managing high-volume banquet events
  • ability to recruit, train, and lead culinary teams
  • strong financial and operational skills
  • excellent organizational and communication skills
  • passionate about quality and continuous improvement
  • culinary arts degree or equivalent training
  • ServSafe Food Safety Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
  • knowledge of food allergen awareness

Job Duties

  • Lead all banquet and special event culinary operations
  • develop and standardize banquet menus
  • ensure consistent food quality and presentation
  • oversee Employee Cafeteria meal production
  • enforce food safety and sanitation standards
  • manage kitchen team recruitment, training, and retention
  • control labor costs, food costs, inventory, and waste
  • collaborate with Executive Chef and Food & Beverage teams
  • coordinate with event management and purchasing
  • maintain high operational and service standards across all events
