Job Requirements
- Minimum of three years of culinary supervisory or management experience
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- ability to adapt to new technologies and operating systems
- knowledge in food concept and menu implementation
- budgetary analysis skills a plus
- availability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- luxury hotel experience a plus

Job Duties
- Prepare and order all items for all banquet event orders
- create order sheets and inventory systems to ensure proper stock levels
- manage inventory and control of equipment and china required for events in conjunction with the Executive Steward
- execute all production and plating in a timely and efficient manner meeting and exceeding guest expectations
- attend banquet event order meetings and communicate information to banquet kitchen department
- oversee banquet production flow and adjust to adhere to cost and quality control procedures
- oversee daily operation of banquet kitchen including recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising sous chefs and cooks
- lead and assist in food preparation during banquets and events
- maintain clean and sanitary food preparation and storage areas in accordance with state and local sanitation requirements
- prepare weekly kitchen work schedules and distribute them timely
- estimate daily production needs weekly and communicate them to kitchen personnel
- oversee and create employee dining room menus and experience
- prepare and cook food for both regular service and special functions
- maintain purchasing, receiving, and food storage standards
- create WOW moments
- perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs
