Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Four years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area or two-year degree with two years experience
  • Ability to perform culinary tasks and manage a team
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Knowledge of food storage, handling, and plating
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Four years of experience in culinary or food and beverage industry or related field
  • Two-year degree in Culinary Arts or Hotel and Restaurant Management preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Perform culinary tasks while leading banquet food preparation staff
  • Coordinate menus, purchasing, and scheduling for catering events
  • Prepare and plate food ensuring appetizing presentation
  • Maintain food sanitation and safety standards
  • Lead and manage culinary team performance and development
  • Manage banquet kitchen shift operations and food quantities
  • Respond to guest complaints and ensure exceptional customer service
