Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent experience
  • minimum of 2 years as a chef
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to work under time constraints and deadlines
  • excellent English communication skills
  • proficiency in computer-based ticket systems
  • physical ability to bend, stoop, and kneel
  • willingness to participate in on-site cooking test during interview

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of 2 years of chef experience
  • understanding of hygiene protocols
  • proficiency in knife techniques
  • knowledge of culinary techniques such as sauteing and grilling
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • proficiency with kitchen technology such as ticket systems
  • highly organized
  • high school diploma or equivalent experience
  • culinary arts degree and ServeSafe certification a plus

Job Duties

  • manage menu planning and day-to-day kitchen operations
  • supervise preparation, plating, and quality of food for banquet events
  • collaborate with executive chef and front of house for seamless event execution
  • prepare prep lists and manage banquet production team
  • maintain clean and sanitary workstations
  • oversee employee hiring, training, and performance evaluations
  • assist other kitchen teams as needed
