Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of two years of banquet or hospitality experience including supervisory responsibilities
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to lead a team
- previous banquet captain experience required
- hotel banquet experience a plus
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of two years of experience in a banquet or hospitality setting
- supervisory experience preferred
- strong understanding of banquet operations and procedures
- proficiency in customer service and conflict resolution
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work well under pressure
- proficiency in using POS systems
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- prior experience working in a Marriott hotel preferred
- experience with event planning software preferred
- formal training in hospitality management preferred

- Oversee banquet setup
- manage event logistics
- provide exceptional customer service
- lead and train banquet team including hiring and performance management
- manage banquet inventory
