Job Requirements
- must be able to clearly and effectively communicate in English
- proven ability to perform and supervise all positions in banquet operations
- strong PC skills with working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Office, and Outlook
- excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- physical ability to perform light work with prolonged walking or standing and occasionally exert up to 50lbs of force
- schedule flexibility based on departmental requirements
Job Qualifications
- strong knowledge of food and beverage service procedures
- strong background in hospitality
- minimum two years related experience preferred
- excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- proven ability to supervise and assist banquet personnel
- strong PC skills including proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Office, and Outlook
- ability to clearly and effectively communicate in English
Job Duties
- oversee the smooth execution of events such as weddings, conferences, and parties
- coordinate with the event planner to understand vision and requirements
- manage the banquet staff during events
- ensure proper setup and arrangement of event spaces
- provide exceptional customer service throughout the event
- handle any issues or emergencies that arise with professionalism
- supervise banquet operations and assist banquet personnel as needed
