Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of banquet catering or event service experience
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in hospitality preferred
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards
- Ability to remain calm organized and professional in a fast-paced event environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible availability including evenings weekends and holidays as required by event schedules
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds

Job Duties
- Lead and supervise banquet servers during assigned events providing direction and real-time support
- Serve as the primary on-site contact for event hosts planners and vendors during the event
- Ensure banquet events are executed according to the banquet event order including timelines layouts menu service and special requests
- Coordinate closely with culinary bar and events teams to ensure a smooth service flow
- Deliver elevated attentive service consistent with Black Walnut Inn's hospitality standards
- Anticipate guest needs and proactively resolve service issues during events
- Oversee event setup and breakdown including room layouts tables chairs linens decor and service stations
