  • must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Job Duties

  • Reviews assigned banquet staff functions and banquet menus prior to scheduled events
  • conducts pre-banquet meetings with staff to ensure appearance and hygiene standards, assign stations and partners, and review banquet event orders
  • communicates with the Executive Chef, Kitchen Manager, or event coordinator to ensure details are planned and met, with timely updates
  • ensures availability and requisition of necessary china, glassware, silverware, linens, and other items for events
  • checks room set-up before events and confirms food quantities and timing with Executive Chef
  • ensures proper handling and storage of equipment after use
  • conducts random audits during functions to evaluate food and service quality, ensuring food temperature, presentation, availability, and upsell opportunities
  • reviews banquet schedule regularly for changes, calendar, and special events
  • incorporates safe work practices in job performance
  • maintains regular and reliable attendance
  • performs other duties as required
