Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 3-6 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and speak English as required for job duties
- Must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Job Duties
- Review assigned banquet staff functions and banquet menus prior to scheduled events
- Conduct pre-banquet meetings to ensure appearance and hygiene standards, assign stations and partners, and review banquet event orders
- Communicate with Executive Chef, Kitchen Manager, or event coordinator to ensure all details have been planned and met
- Ensure appropriate quantities of china, glassware, silverware, linens, and other items are available and requisition supplies if needed
- Check room setup prior to event and confirm food quantities and timing with Executive Chef
- Ensure proper handling and storage of equipment such as china, glassware, silverware, linen, and props
- Conduct random audits during functions to evaluate food and service quality, ensuring food temperature, placement, availability, and upsell opportunities
- Regularly review banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events
- Incorporate safe work practices in job performance
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance
- Perform other duties as required
