Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 3-6 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to read and speak English may be required to perform job duties
- must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Job Duties
- Review assigned banquet staff functions and banquet menus prior to scheduled events
- conduct pre-banquet meetings with staff to ensure appearance and hygiene standards, assign stations and partners, and review banquet event orders
- communicate with Executive Chef, Kitchen Manager or event coordinator to confirm all event details and ensure instructions are followed
- ensure appropriate quantities of china, glassware, silverware, linens, and other items are available and requisition as needed
- check room set-up prior to event and meet with Executive Chef to confirm food quantities and timing
- ensure proper handling and storage of equipment and supplies after use
- conduct random audits during functions to evaluate food and service quality, including temperature and portion control
- regularly review banquet schedule for changes and special events
- incorporate safe work practices in all job functions
- maintain regular and reliable attendance
- perform other duties as assigned
