Job Requirements

Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and stoop
Ability to sit and stand for an extended period of time
Able to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds
Must have excellent communication and organizational skills
Must be able to work a flexible schedule
Ability to travel and use a personal vehicle may be required

Job Qualifications

Minimum one year of related and relevant work experience
Previous supervisory experience preferred
Excellent communication and organizational skills

Job Duties

Manage the setup, execution, and breakdown of events and banquets
Work with the Director of Sales and Catering to develop accurate banquet event orders
Supervise and schedule event staff including interviewing, hiring, training, and performance appraisal
Ensure events are executed according to customer specifications
Provide in-service training to banquet staff
Resolve employee relations issues and escalate guest concerns
Maintain positive relationships with customers, guests, vendors, and the community
Ensure staff awareness and scheduling aligns with projected events
Represent and promote the hotel and restaurant professionally during events
