Job Requirements

  • Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and stoop

Job Duties

  • Manage the setup, execution, and breakdown of events and banquets
  • Work with the Director of Sales and Catering to develop accurate banquet event orders
  • Supervise and schedule event staff including interviewing, hiring, training, and performance appraisal
  • Ensure events are executed according to customer specifications
  • Provide in-service training to banquet staff
  • Resolve employee relations issues and escalate guest concerns
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers, guests, vendors, and the community
  • Ensure staff awareness and scheduling aligns with projected events
  • Represent and promote the hotel and restaurant professionally during events
