Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One to three years related experience preferred
  • Must meet state and federal minimum age requirements for serving alcohol
  • Current Food Handlers Card
  • TIPS Certification
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to achieve high work standards with attention to detail and timeliness
  • Demonstrated initiative and independent decision-making skills
  • Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  • Valid driver’s license

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand and implement BSRG dining standards
  • Demonstrated initiative and sound independent judgment
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  • Valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Communicate the core values and mission of BlueStar Resort & Golf to support company goals
  • Ensure superior standards of food service and quality are met or exceeded
  • Collaborate with Assistant F&B Manager to align banquet staff vision and planning
  • Supervise and coach banquet staff according to policies and procedures
  • Support hiring process as requested
  • Maintain effective communication regarding operations, safety, and employee concerns
  • Manage banquet staff during events and assist Food & Beverage managers
  • Assist in monthly inventories when applicable
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
