Job Requirements
- Meet state and federal minimum age requirements for serving alcohol
- must be highly customer oriented and responsive
- able to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities
- strong team-building and leadership skills
- role model embodying company core values of honesty, integrity, respect, teamwork, and competitive spirit
- ability to consistently achieve high work standards
- able to work in fast-paced environment with continuous improvement
- must be able to see, speak, and hear clearly
- capable of standing and walking for most of the shift
- able to lift, balance, carry, bend, and reach as necessary
- frequent hand washing required
- able to navigate indoor and outdoor event settings and variable terrain
- willing to travel occasionally
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- one to three years related experience preferred
- current Food Handlers Card
- TIPS Certification
- computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ability to understand and implement dining standards
- strong attention to detail and accuracy
- ability to make independent decisions based on sound judgment
- flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- valid driver’s license
Job Duties
- Organize and direct daily activities of banquet staff
- collaborate with Catering and Sales Manager and Assistant Food and Beverage Manager
- supervise banquet staff according to company policies
- train and develop banquet team members
- support hiring process as requested
- maintain effective communication on operations and safety
- attend and manage banquet events
- assist in monthly inventories
- recognize and celebrate team successes
- perform additional duties as assigned
