Job Requirements
- must have U.S. work authorization
- be at least 18 years of age
- one year or more banquet serving experience preferred
- previous banquet service experience required
- experience in hotel environment desired
- some management skills preferred
- effective verbal and written communication skills
- physically able to carry trays weighing up to 30 lbs without assistance
- able to stand or walk for entire shift
- available to work nights and weekends

Job Duties
- possess extensive professional knowledge and expertise in their specific function
- assignments and projects are in-depth and extensive in scope and complexity
- make decisions within specific guidelines
- introduce yourself to contact person of event and ensure their requests are clear and properly executed by staff
- follow banquet event order requirements
- maintain proper uniform
- set up banquet rooms as instructed including linen and china
- follow health and safety practices at all times
- complete all prep work prior to event start time
- serve food and or beverage ensuring consistency throughout event
- respond promptly to any guest request
- set up buffets as needed to established standards
- maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude
- maintain clear and open communication between all staff for event success
- maintain all work areas including side duties during event
- keep tally of consumed beverages food items and AV equipment used
- ring out banquet event orders and provide copy to sales catering staff for payment
- respect co-workers and managers
- have fun at work and maintain positive attitude
- once banquet is complete remove all linen silverware china and trays from space
