Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
At least 3 years of experience in banquet management or hospitality
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and walking extensively
Familiarity with sanitation and food safety standards
Effective communication skills
Ability to lead and supervise teams
Flexibility to work full time or part time

Job Qualifications

Previous experience 3+ years
Strong wedding captain background
Ability to lift and carry tables and serving trays
Capability to walk majority of the shift
Experience handling vacuum and mop regularly
Knowledge of proper chemical handling
Banquet serving and set-up experience

Job Duties

Analyzes banquet event orders to assure proper handling
Physically checks each function room
Assures timeliness of all functions
Acts as liaison for the hotel at each function
Fills in as server or set-up person when needed
Promotes proper sanitation and safety for guests and employees at all times
Observes proper food handling techniques as required by hotel and health department
