Job Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to read and interpret retail product labeling
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications
- One year banquet supervisory experience
- Excellent people and communication skills
- Proven experience supervising banquet staff in an event setting
- Demonstrated outstanding customer service
- Willingness to learn and perform new banquet event programs and services
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and motivation
- Flexibility with schedule including evenings and weekends
Job Duties
- Maintain complete knowledge of service requirements for assigned function and communicate expectations to banquet staff
- Supervise banquet staff and ensure quality service is provided to guests
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist in seating as required by the group
- Ensure a pleasant visit for each guest while maintaining effective guest relations
- Recognize and resolve guest complaints and concerns
- Supervise event setup and breakdown procedures
- Contribute to overall cleanliness and organization of facility and event location
- Perform special projects delegated by management
- Stay updated on latest developments pertinent to the department and location
