Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 2 years experience in banquet or event management
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • physical ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • knowledge of health and safety standards
  • ability to lead and motivate a team

Job Duties

  • Lead and liaise with multiple departments to ensure exceptional group functions
  • ensure smooth daily operation of the banquet department and events bar/food services
  • manage daily operations on the banquet floor
  • review banquet event orders to ensure correct setups
  • assess and update procedures, policies, and methods of operation
  • maintain equipment, fixtures, and furniture in good repair and supply
  • develop and maintain a safety culture and ensure adherence to health and safety standards
