Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year experience in food and beverage service or relevant hospitality role
  • Ability to work full-time including evenings and weekends
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to train and supervise staff
  • Knowledge of service standards and guest relations
  • Ability to handle stressful situations professionally

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in banquet or food and beverage service preferred
  • Experience in supervising or leading team members
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate with various departments
  • Training or experience in hospitality is an asset
  • Ability to handle cash and complete payment procedures
  • Competency in using reservation and event management systems

Job Duties

  • Provide banquet food and beverage service to members and guests ensuring satisfaction
  • Coordinate with other club departments for event execution
  • Supervise, develop, and train all event personnel
  • Ensure successful execution of food and beverage activities and private events during shift
  • Display the 3 Steps of Service consistently
  • Hire, develop, and discipline banquet service personnel according to club procedures
  • Implement training programs to maintain service standards
  • Communicate with Private Event Director about staffing and event preparation
  • Serve food and beverage adhering to service standards
  • Check reservation book and room set-up for event accuracy
  • Oversee events and ensure timely food service
  • Communicate with event host post-event to confirm satisfaction
  • Collect event payment and handle associated paperwork
  • Ensure event rooms are cleaned and reset for next functions
  • Perform opening procedures for banquet areas
  • Record additional tasks in the MOD log
  • Greet members warmly and know names
  • Ensure daily assignments and side work meet club standards
  • Assist colleagues to deliver the 3 Steps of Service
  • Address member and guest complaints promptly
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisors
