Job Requirements
- Ability to read, understand, analyze, and interpret general training manuals, professional journals, or technical procedures
- ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from children, managers, associates, members, and the public
- ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
- minimum one year of customer service experience
- food safety certified
- alcohol beverage consumption training required
- professional and friendly manner with excellent customer service attitude and abilities
- strong verbal communication and conflict resolution skills
- enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable team player
- self-motivated and takes initiative
- well organized and detail oriented
- ability to stand for extended periods

Job Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of customer service experience preferably in the food service industry
- food safety certified
- alcohol beverage consumption training required

Job Duties
- Ensuring excellent guest service that meets or exceeds expectations
- ensuring that the restaurant is adequately staffed to meet member needs
- assisting management with the onboarding and training of new employees
- giving guidance on planning, assigning, and directing work
- addressing complaints and resolving problems
- supervising shifts in the absence of management including daily decision-making, staff support, scheduling and planning while upholding standards, product quality and cleanliness
- monitoring daily activities to ensure quality food and cleanliness standards
- assisting with set-up of tables, linens, chairs, etc. for full service of banquet events
- providing excellent food and beverage service for banquet events
- checking identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- attempting to limit problems and liability related to customers' excessive drinking by taking steps such as persuading customers to stop drinking, refusing to serve additional alcoholic beverages, or ordering taxis or other transportation for intoxicated patrons
- maintaining proper dining experience by delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, removing courses, replenishing utensils, and refilling glasses
- active participation in events, programs, meetings, and training
- representing the club in a professional manner through image, dress, communication, and immediate follow through and response
- scheduling varies and may require weekend and holiday hours, days, and evenings
