Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in a high-end, high-volume banquet operation is required
- Prior supervisory experience is required
- Must be able to speak, write, and understand English
- Ability to communicate in Spanish and or Haitian Creole desirable
- Must meet Food Handler and Responsible Vendor training and certification requirements
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
- Excellent time management skills
- Creative, flexible, and innovative team player
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Job Duties
- Meet and greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
- Coordinate with the event planner and or the sales manager on all aspects of the banquet function
- Perform planning and organization functions for the banqueting department like maintaining and updating function sheets and BEO
- Inspect banquet rooms, service, and kitchen areas for cleanliness, proper set up, and ensure that sufficient supplies and equipment are available for functions
- Oversee all aspects of assigned banquet activities, ensuring food stations and bars are properly set and ready for execution at appointed times
- Respond quickly and accurately to guest requests
- Plan the event course and orchestrate its completion in a timely and discreet manner
