Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in banquet or event operations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights and weekends
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Job Duties
- Lead and liaise with multiple departments to ensure exceptional group functions
- Ensure smooth daily operation of the banquet department and event bar/food services
- Manage floor operations during events
- Review banquet event orders to confirm correct set-ups
- Critically assess and improve procedures, policies, and methods of operation
- Maintain equipment, fixtures, and furniture in the department
- Keep all function information up to date with revisions
- Develop and enforce a safety culture within the department
- Maintain harmonious and communicative working relationships with supporting departments
- Coach and train team members, monitor development and provide feedback
- Ensure guest satisfaction goals are met or exceeded
- Develop strong interpersonal relationships with guests
