Job Requirements

  • Ability to read, understand, analyze, and interpret training manuals, professional journals, or technical procedures
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from children, managers, associates, members, and the public
  • Ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
  • Minimum one year of customer service experience
  • Food safety certification
  • Alcohol beverage consumption training

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of customer service experience
  • Food service industry experience preferred
  • Food safety certified
  • Alcohol beverage consumption training required
  • Professional, friendly manner with excellent customer service abilities
  • Strong verbal communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable team player
  • Self-motivated with initiative
  • Well organized and detail oriented

Job Duties

  • Ensuring excellent guest service that meets or exceeds expectations
  • Ensuring that the restaurant is adequately staffed to meet member needs
  • Assists management with the onboarding and training of new employees
  • Give guidance on planning, assigning, and directing work
  • Addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • Supervises shifts in the absence of management, including daily decision-making, staff support, scheduling and planning while upholding standards, product quality and cleanliness
  • Monitoring daily activities to ensure quality food and cleanliness standards
  • Assist with set-up of tables, linens, chairs for banquet events
  • Provide excellent food and beverage service for banquet events
  • Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
  • Attempt to limit problems and liability related to customers' excessive drinking
  • Maintain proper dining experience by delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses
  • Active participation in events, programs, meetings, and training
  • Represent the club professionally through image, dress, communication, and immediate follow through and response
  • Work varied schedule with weekend and holiday hours
