Job Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of banquet or event operations experience
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food Handler's certification
- TABC certification
- Strong leadership skills are necessary
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capacity to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Detail orientation and organizational skills
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Familiarity with basic office technology

Job Duties
- Attend BEO meetings to review event details with the Event Coordinator and Executive Chef
- Supervise banquet staff in event set-up including table settings, linens, and décor
- Verify all equipment such as audiovisual and lighting is operational before events
- Oversee cleanliness and organization of event spaces before, during, and after events
- Assist property Food and Beverage manager when required
- Lead, train, and direct banquet servers ensuring high-quality service
- Assign duties to banquet team members according to event requirements
- Monitor food and beverage delivery to ensure timely and accurate service
- Report directly to Executive Chef and Food and Beverage Manager
- Address guest needs and resolve concerns professionally
- Ensure personalized guest experiences including special dietary requests
- Maintain professionalism as the face of the hotel's high standards
- Coordinate food and beverage delivery with kitchen and bar staff
- Monitor quality and presentation of food and beverages
- Assist with serving food and beverages and table turnover during events
- Supervise event breakdown and clean-up
- Complete post-event reports detailing any issues or special requests
- Assist with inventory and report shortages or damages to management
