Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and or pull up to 25–50 pounds
  • Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motion required
  • Must be able to safely and efficiently navigate busy event spaces
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • This is a part-time, on-call position

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of banquet, restaurant, or hospitality experience required
  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or lead server experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of banquet service styles, including plated, buffet, and reception service
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by example while working in a hands-on service role
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to remain composed and solution-oriented in high-pressure situations

Job Duties

  • Conduct and lead pre-shift meetings to communicate event details, timelines, service expectations, and assigned responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of event setup, including room arrangements, table settings, decor placement, and equipment readiness
  • Inspect event spaces prior to guest arrival to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to club standards
  • Maintain continuous communication with the culinary team to confirm guest counts, menu details, timing, and execution of food service
  • Act as a working lead—actively serving while supervising staff and maintaining service flow, ensuring proper service techniques and standards are followed
  • Monitor event flow and timing, making real-time adjustments as necessary to ensure seamless execution
  • Address and resolve guest concerns or service issues promptly and professionally, escalating to the Banquet Manager when appropriate
