Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in banquet service or event operations within a luxury hotel, resort, or fine dining environment
  • Proven proficiency in fine dining and luxury banquet service techniques, including synchronized service, tray handling, wine presentation, and multi-course execution
  • Must be available to work flexible hours and days including early morning, days, evenings, overnight, weekends and holidays
  • Current Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Server certificates
  • Must be impeccably groomed and maintain good hygiene
  • US work authorization

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in banquet service or event operations within a luxury hotel, resort, or fine dining environment
  • Proven proficiency in fine dining and luxury banquet service techniques, including synchronized service, tray handling, wine presentation, and multi-course execution
  • Current Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Server certificates
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to coach and mentor team members

Job Duties

  • Lead and supervise the banquet service team in the flawless execution of events, ensuring that every detail from setup to service to breakdown meets the hotel's standards of excellence
  • Serve as the on-site leader during events, liaising between culinary, beverage, and event operations teams to ensure timing, flow, and presentation are executed with precision
  • Train and coach service staff on luxury service techniques, including plate carrying, synchronized service, wine and beverage presentation, tray handling, and guest engagement etiquette
  • Support the Director of Event Experiences in maintaining labor efficiency, inventory control, and service quality across multiple concurrent events
