Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • current Food Handler's Card
  • completion of RBS training
  • minimum legal age to serve alcohol
  • at least one year experience in bartending preferred
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • ability to work under pressure
  • flexible schedule with weekend availability
  • strong knowledge of beverages and cocktails

  • minimum legal age to serve alcohol
  • one year experience as a bartender preferred
  • good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine
  • experience in luxury hospitality preferred
  • professional appearance and manner
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • availability to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Job Duties

  • Assist guests in beverage and drink preparation
  • service bar and restaurant areas efficiently and timely
  • engage with guests to understand and satisfy drink preferences
  • maintain knowledge of menu and standard drinks to guide guests
  • comply with Bishop's Lodge and Forbes standards
  • contribute to increasing F&B sales by promoting drinks, cocktails, spirits, specials, and menu items
  • accurately take and process orders using Micros system
  • prepare guest checks and handle payments
  • operate, maintain and clean all bar equipment
  • ensure bar is well-stocked
  • follow safe food handling procedures and maintain a safe working environment
