Job Duties
- assist guests in beverage and drink preparation
- service the bar area and restaurant efficiently and timely
- engage with guests about their beverage needs and satisfaction
- maintain detailed knowledge of drink offerings and assist guests accordingly
- comply with Bishop's Lodge and Forbes standards for bar and restaurant outlets
- contribute to food and beverage sales by being knowledgeable about drinks, specials, and prices
- accurately take and place orders in the Micros system ensuring correct timing and billing
- prepare guest checks and collect payments or signatures as required
- operate, maintain, and clean all bar equipment and fittings properly
- ensure the bar is well-stocked at all times
- use safe food handling procedures and maintain a safe working environment according to food safety guidelines
