Job Requirements

  • minimum age to serve alcohol
  • one year experience in foodservice or hospitality industry as bartender preferred
  • good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine
  • ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • ability to obtain food handler’s and alcohol training certifications as applicable
  • must be available to work weekends including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
  • superior professional appearance and good character
  • capable of working in fast-paced team environment

Job Qualifications

  • one year experience in the foodservice or hospitality industry as a bartender preferred
  • good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine
  • experience at a luxury hospitality property preferred
  • must be of minimum age to serve alcohol
  • superior professional appearance and manner
  • good character to work in a fast-paced team
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • ability to obtain relevant state and local certifications such as food handler’s certificate or alcohol training certifications
  • must be available to work weekends including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Job Duties

  • assist guests in beverage and drink preparation
  • service the bar area and restaurant efficiently and timely
  • engage with guests to ensure satisfaction with beverages and drinks
  • be knowledgeable about the drink offerings on the menu as well as standard drinks
  • comply with resort and Forbes standards in bar and restaurant operations
  • contribute to improving food and beverage sales by knowledge of drinks, cocktails, spirits, specials, and prices
  • accurately take and place orders using the Micros system
  • prepare guest checks accurately and collect payment or signatures
  • operate, maintain, and clean all bar equipment and fittings properly
  • ensure the bar is well-stocked at all times
  • use safe food handling procedures and maintain a safe working environment
