Job Requirements

  • Minimum age to serve alcohol
  • One year experience in foodservice or hospitality industry preferred
  • Good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to obtain state and local certifications like food handlers certificate or alcohol training
  • Must be available to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
  • Superior professional appearance and manner

  • Good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine
  • Experience in luxury hospitality preferred
  • Must be minimum age to serve alcohol
  • Superior professional appearance and manner
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to obtain relevant state and local certifications such as food handlers certificate or alcohol training
  • Must be available to work weekends including Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Job Duties

  • Assist guests in beverage and drink preparation, service bar area and restaurant efficiently and timely
  • Relate with guests to ensure satisfaction with beverages and drinks, providing caring and high-quality service
  • Be knowledgeable about drink menu offerings and standard drinks, aiding guests in beverage selection based on preferences
  • Comply with Bishop's Lodge / Forbes standards within Bar and Restaurant outlets
  • Contribute to improving F&B sales by being knowledgeable about drinks, cocktails, spirits, menu items, specials and prices
  • Accurately take and place orders, input into Micros system ensuring correct timing and billing
  • Prepare guest checks accurately and collect payment or signature as required
  • Operate, maintain and clean all bar equipment and fittings properly
  • Ensure the bar is well-stocked at all times
  • Use safe food handling procedures and maintain a safe working environment
