Job Requirements

  • Minimum age to serve alcohol
  • One year experience in foodservice or hospitality industry as a bartender preferred
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to obtain relevant state and local certifications such as food handler or alcohol training
  • Must be available to work weekends, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
  • Superior professional appearance and manner
  • Good character to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • One year experience in foodservice or hospitality industry as a bartender preferred
  • Good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine
  • Experience at a luxury hospitality property preferred
  • Must be of minimum age to serve alcohol
  • Superior professional appearance and manner
  • Good character to work in a fast-paced team
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to obtain relevant state and local certifications such as food handler or alcohol training as applicable
  • Must be available to work weekends including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Job Duties

  • Assist guests in beverage and drink preparation, service of the bar area and restaurant efficiently and timely
  • Relate with guests about their beverage needs and satisfaction ensuring caring and high-quality service
  • Be knowledgeable about drink offerings in the menu and standard drinks to assist guests
  • Comply with resort standards in bar and restaurant outlets
  • Contribute to improving F&B sales revenues by being knowledgeable about drinks, cocktails, spirits, specials and prices
  • Take and place orders accurately and input them into the Micros system ensuring correct timing and billing
  • Prepare guest checks accurately and collect payment or signature
  • Operate, maintain and clean all bar equipment and fittings properly
  • Ensure the bar is well-stocked at all times
  • Use safe food handling procedures and maintain a safe working environment
