The position of Banquet Bartender at Wine & Roses is a part-time role that requires dedication to delivering superior guest experiences during various banquet events. The Banquet Bartender is responsible for welcoming guests warmly and upholding a high level of professionalism throughout their event attendance. This role holds accountability for the complete setup and takedown of banquet bar events, including meticulous attention to the logistics outlined in the Banquet Event Order to guarantee smooth operations. The core duty involves preparing drink orders for guests promptly and accurately by following specified recipes and using appropriate measuring systems to maintain quality and consistency. As this part-time position demands flexible availability, candidates should expect to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Beyond drink preparation, the bartender also manages food and drink orders from bar patrons, handles secure transactions by collecting accurate payments, and ensures that cash handling responsibilities such as counting the cash bank before and after shifts and completing cashier reports are executed flawlessly with discrepancy resolutions and bank security maintained. The Banquet Bartender is expected to have an in-depth knowledge of all alcoholic beverages, wines, and restaurant menus to make appropriate suggestions on appetizers, entrees, desserts, and beverage pairings. Candidates in this role must be capable of performing all server functions as required and assist with side work, restocking, and maintaining a clean and orderly bar area. Compensation for this position includes an hourly wage of $16.90 plus an average service charge bringing the earning potential between $30.00 and $35.00 per hour. Job Requirements
- Must be of legal drinking age
- At least 2 years of bartending experience
- Effective at working multiple priorities, working under stress, time management and exercise good judgment with guest and employee situations and challenges
- Must have flexibility in performing different job roles within the restaurant
- Knowledgeable in the use of POS system and accuracy of order entries
- Constant standing and repetitive use of hands, arms, and legs
- Bending of neck
- Frequent walking, carrying of bottles, tray with drinks and plate(s) of food, bending, grasping, pushing, pulling, twisting of body and neck, power grasping and reaching below, above and at shoulder level
- Occasional carrying case of wine and beverage items, stooping to ground level to retrieve items
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop and reach
- Lift and carry equipment and supplies
- Constantly walk and stand for long periods up to 4 hours
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Walking over uneven ground and up and down stairs to service guests with or without reasonable accommodation
- See and read a POS and printed material with or without vision aids
- Hear and understand speech at normal levels

Job Duties
- Prepare drink orders for guests in a timely manner according to specified recipes using measuring systems
- Take food and drink order from bar patrons
- Collect accurate payment from guests for drinks served
- Count bank at beginning and end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies and secure bank
- In-depth menu knowledge of all alcoholic beverages and wines as well as restaurant menus to include ingredients, dish preparation, specials
- Must be able to carry out all server functions
- Perform other duties as required, opening, and closing side work and restocking
- Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas of the bar
- Set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools
- Maintain organization of the liquor bin and other bar storage areas
- Take part as needed in inventory of items necessary for daily bar service and monthly inventories
