Job Duties

  • Review daily banquet events to determine location, event style, and set up needs
  • Attend staff meetings including pre-shift sessions as required
  • Inspect the bar prior to opening to ensure presentation and cleanliness
  • Stock glassware, napkins, straws, shakers, etc., in preparation for daily banquet event
  • Stock beverage products according to event order including premium and call liquor, beer, wine, and soda
  • Prepare garnishes, mixes, and pre-mixed drinks
  • Greet members and guests upon arrival
  • Mix, prepare and serve drinks to members and guests and mix drinks ordered by servers
  • Closely track product consumption during events to ensure accurate billing
  • Maintain a clean, presentable, and well-organized bar throughout events
  • Ensure all beer, wine, and liquor is appropriately stored after events
  • Clean and lock up the bar area according to procedures
  • Remove trash and dispose of properly
  • Serve drinks to members and guests at lounge tables in the absence of servers
  • Follow all laws and club policies regarding alcohol service and notify management if service should be questioned
  • Report complaints to manager promptly
  • Perform other duties as assigned
