Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to stand and walk for entire shifts
- capability to move and lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to work varied shifts including weekends
- ability to safely use knives, blenders and bar equipment
- good communication skills
- ability to tolerate frequent exposure to liquids
- willingness to work in crowded and noisy environments
Job Qualifications
- Proficiency in the use and operation of all necessary tools and equipment including POS system
- effective communication skills in written and spoken directions
- ability to multi-task calmly in a busy environment
- knowledge of food allergy procedures and special orders
- successfully completed alcohol awareness training
- experience servicing catering calls and events
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve beverages to guests according to recipes and contracts
- stock and restock appropriate areas of the bar with alcohol, glassware, ice and supplies
- work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including weekends
- effectively service a full bar top and cocktail station
- safely and effectively transport food or beverages to a table of three in a single trip
- use tact and good judgement when dealing with guest challenges and respond with patience and courtesy
- assist in overseeing catered events
