Job Requirements
- Minimum two years upscale casual or fine dining bartending experience
- Minimum 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
- Full service bar experience including beer, wine and liquor
- Able to be on your feet for up to eight hours
- Able to communicate effectively with guests and other associates
- Must be able to work in indoor and outdoor environments
- Must be able to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, and weekends
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Previous experience in similar position in hospitality industry
- Prior experience with POS system

Job Duties
- Provide extensive knowledge of cocktails and spirits
- Have knowledge of all wines, spirits and beer
- Prepare all necessary mixers and garnishes prior to start of service and during shift as needed
- Set up bar service area with all necessary glassware and supplies prior to start of service
- Clean and restock glassware throughout shift
- Greet guests in a polite professional manner according to hotel standards
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to order upon request
- Serve guests in a polite, professional manner according to hotel standards
- Properly set-up and maintain a clean efficient bar throughout the shift
- Collect monies due and or apply charges to guest account using POS terminal
- Maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons and drunk driving
- Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs promptly, ensuring no shortages throughout scheduled function time
- Clearly communicate last call at designated event ending or bar closing time to guests
- Complete all closing reports in the POS system
- Count bank at end of shift
- complete designated cashier reports and drop receipts

- Assist with weekly/monthly inventories
- Responsible for compliance of state laws regulating the serving of alcohol
- Think clearly, quickly, maintain concentration, and make concise decisions
- Ability to perform the job functions with minimal supervision
