The Banquet Bartender role is integral to the seamless execution of banquet operations, responsible for enhancing the overall guest experience through expert bartending and exceptional customer service. The person in this role will be expected to reliably prepare and serve drinks, maintain cleanliness and presentation standards, and assist in food service as needed. Job Requirements
- Previous food and beverage, hospitality, restaurant, banquets or hotel experience is preferred
- Ability to get along with staff and guests
- Passion for creating personable experiences
- Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- TABC and Food Handler Certification
- Requires constant standing and walking
- Requires frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs
- Requires occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs
Job Qualifications
- One year of bartending experience is preferred
- Knowledge of food and beverage service
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Valid TABC certification
- Valid Food Handler certification
- Good physical stamina for standing and lifting
Job Duties
- Provide residents with excellent customer service and accommodate any needs for reasonable special requests
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and all other offerings
- Prepare and serve drinks
- Serve food to residents
- Maintain appearance and cleanliness
- Other duties may be assigned by supervisor
