Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years' experience in food and/or bar service
- ability to stand for long periods of time
- physical ability to maneuver around the venue, at times walking and/or standing for 8-10 hours or greater, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 75 lbs plus, and frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting
- ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years' experience in food and/or bar service
- excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- exceptional hospitality and customer service skills, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
- ability to make professional, independent, and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures
- ServSafe and TIPS certification a plus
Job Duties
- Provide total guest satisfaction through skilled and capable service in accordance with New York State laws and regulations as well as company policies, practices, and procedures
- complete tasks related to stocking, replenishing, cleaning, maintenance, and preparation of beverages
- move and assemble portable bars
- set up and breakdown point of sales systems, cash drawers, and printers
- maintain and stock adequate supplies of bar items such as glasses, cups, napkins, drink supplies, ice, condiments, etc
- prepare food items needed in the preparation of drinks
- clean and polish bar, counters, shelves, and equipment
- comply with inventory control measures
- return all product and equipment to proper storage location
- remove all trash and recyclables from bar areas and dispose of properly
- maintain a safe, clean, organized, and stocked work area following sanitation standards
- maintain a professional appearance, and professional relationship with coworkers at all times
