Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years experience in food and/or bar service
  • ability to stand for long periods of time
  • ability to maneuver around the venue, including walking and/or standing for 8-10 hours or greater
  • ability to climb stairs
  • ability to lift and carry 75 pounds or more
  • frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting
  • ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years experience in food and/or bar service
  • excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • exceptional hospitality and customer service skills, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
  • ability to make professional, independent, and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures
  • ServSafe and TIPS certification a plus

Job Duties

  • Provide total guest satisfaction through skilled and capable service in accordance with New York State laws and regulations as well as company policies, practices, and procedures
  • complete tasks related to stocking, replenishing, cleaning, maintenance, and preparation of beverages
  • move and assemble portable bars
  • set up and breakdown point of sales systems, cash drawers, and printers
  • maintain and stock adequate supplies of bar items such as glasses, cups, napkins, drink supplies, ice, condiments, etc.
  • prepare food items needed in the preparation of drinks
  • clean and polish bar, counters, shelves, and equipment
  • comply with inventory control measures
  • return all product and equipment to proper storage location
  • remove all trash and recyclables from bar areas and dispose of properly
  • maintain a safe, clean, organized, and stocked work area following sanitation standards
  • maintain a professional appearance, and professional relationship with coworkers at all times
