Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of experience in food and/or bar service
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Physical ability to walk, stand for 8-10 hours or greater, climb stairs, lift and carry 75 lbs or more, frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting
  • Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years' experience in food and/or bar service
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Exceptional hospitality and customer service skills, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
  • Ability to make professional, independent, and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures
  • ServSafe and TIPS certification a plus

Job Duties

  • Provide total guest satisfaction through skilled and capable service in accordance with New York State laws and regulations as well as Company policies, practices, and procedures
  • Complete tasks related to stocking, replenishing, cleaning, maintenance, and preparation of beverages
  • Move and assemble portable bars
  • Set up and breakdown point of sales systems, cash drawers, and printers
  • Maintain and stock adequate supplies of bar items such as glasses, cups, napkins, drink supplies, ice, condiments, etc
  • Prepare food items needed in the preparation of drinks
  • Clean and polish bar, counters, shelves, and equipment
  • Comply with inventory control measures
  • Return all product and equipment to proper storage location
  • Remove all trash and recyclables from bar areas and dispose of properly
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and stocked work area following sanitation standards
  • Maintain a professional appearance, and professional relationship with coworkers at all times
