Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years experience in food and/or bar service
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must have the physical ability to maneuver around the venue, including walking or standing for 8-10 hours or greater, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 75 pounds or more, frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting
- Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years experience in food and/or bar service
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Exceptional hospitality and customer service skills, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
- Ability to make professional, independent, and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures
- ServSafe and TIPS certification a plus
Job Duties
- Provide total guest satisfaction through skilled and capable service in accordance with New York State laws and company policies
- Complete tasks related to stocking, replenishing, cleaning, maintenance, and preparation of beverages
- Move and assemble portable bars
- Set up and breakdown point of sales systems, cash drawers, and printers
- Maintain and stock adequate supplies of bar items such as glasses, cups, napkins, drink supplies, ice, condiments
- Prepare food items needed in the preparation of drinks
- Clean and polish bar, counters, shelves, and equipment
- Comply with inventory control measures
- Return all product and equipment to proper storage location
- Remove all trash and recyclables from bar areas and dispose of properly
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and stocked work area following sanitation standards
- Maintain a professional appearance and professional relationship with coworkers at all times
