Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Previous hospitality or food service experience required
  • Valid Food Handler's Certification or ability to obtain upon hire
  • Responsible Beverage Server Certification preferred must be willing to obtain if not certified
  • Strong customer service mindset and willingness to learn
  • Good time management and awareness of event flow
  • Must be reliable punctual and have a professional appearance and grooming
  • Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to stand and walk for long periods and navigate stairs if needed
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including availability to work nights weekends and holidays
  • Able to lift carry push or pull up to 30 lbs
  • Able to adapt to varying weather and temperatures indoors and outdoors

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous hospitality or food service experience

Job Duties

  • Assist with setting up event spaces including linens table settings and buffet or beverage stations
  • Stock service areas appropriately with supplies such as utensils napkins cups and condiments
  • Support the execution of food service by serving pre-plated meals beverages and passed appetizers as directed
  • Replenish buffet stations regularly to ensure presentation and freshness
  • Transport food and supplies from kitchen to event areas in a safe and timely manner
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned areas throughout the event
  • Assist with table service and floor maintenance such as clearing tables removing used dishes and managing trash during and after service
