Job Requirements

  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training required
  • Minimum 1 years of culinary experience in a banquet catering or high-volume hospitality environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Strong organizational planning and time-management skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of large-scale food production including plated service buffets and live stations
  • Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays in line with business demands

Job Duties

  • Direct and oversee all kitchen operations related to banquet and catering functions ensuring quality and timely service
  • Supervise train and schedule culinary staff fostering a professional safe and productive working environment
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef Banquet Manager and Event Sales team to ensure seamless execution of events
  • Monitor and control the food and labor cost within the companys guidelines
  • Ensure adherence to all health safety and sanitation regulations maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Manage food purchasing inventory and cost controls
  • Develop new dishes and support the Executive chef in that process
  • Doing precise recipes in order to have a proper costing
