Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience working with children and children’s events
- retail or customer service experience
- ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with guests and co-workers
- excellent people skills
- good communication skills including written, verbal, and nonverbal
- organizational and interpersonal skills
- ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and reaching
- willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements for the job

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children's birthday parties and craft classes
- engage clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
- demonstrate and instruct craft projects and activities such as face painting
- facilitate party add-ons like goody bags and balloons to company standards
- communicate events with clients and store team members
- complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
- adjust plans based on client feedback and needs
- create backup or emergency plans
- ensure client satisfaction during events
- uphold cleanliness and safety standards including event setup and breakdown
- help customers shop and locate products
- provide friendly and fast checkout experiences
- promote and enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
- educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
- assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes
- participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram duties
- complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
- perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
- support shrink and safety programs
- adhere to SOPs and company policies
- maintain positive and respectful interactions
- cross train in Custom Framing selling and production
- participate in daily store cleanliness
