Job Requirements
- minimum 4 - 6 years of experience in supervisory roles within full-service restaurants and event management
- strong communication and organizational skills
- ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
- flexible availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
- willingness and ability to travel to the US Virgin Islands for events
- commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation
- proficiency in computer systems and event management tools

Job Duties
- First point of contact for all events
- Handles pre-event coordination including responding to phone and email requests for event information, pricing, creating event proposals, and following up with potential clients
- Works closely with General Managers and Executive Chefs in marketing, planning, and execution of events
- Meeting with potential clients to discuss event plans
- Preparing event contracts, proposals, and post-event invoices
- Communicates with concept managers, chefs, clients, vendors, coordinators, PR team, marketing department, and guests to deliver contracted services
- Operate onsite and offsite events according to client specifications and company standards
- Effectively lead and manage Ballast Hospitality staff during events
- Maintaining a visible presence and serving as client point-of-contact during events
- Utilize systems for communication, product lists, and inventory pull sheets
- Create Run of Show for events and distribute to all involved
- Assist with event set up when needed
- Demonstrate integrity and foster trust within the team
- Complete financial and personnel administrative duties accurately and on time
- Ensure proper safety procedures and report accidents promptly
- Enforce sanitary practices and compliance with health regulations
- Ensure consistent, high-quality service and food preparation
- Perform other duties as required or requested
