Job Requirements

  • At least 6 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
  • Or a 4-year college degree with 4 to 5 years of related experience
  • Or a 2-year college degree with 5 to 6 years of related experience
  • Valid driver’s license for the applicable state

Job Qualifications

  • Strong leadership capabilities in sales and budget management
  • Proficient with Windows operating systems, spreadsheets, and word processing software
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
  • Proven ability to motivate and lead teams effectively
  • Skills in networking and relationship building with stakeholders
  • Valid driver’s license for the applicable state

Job Duties

  • Optimize financial performance by maximizing revenue and controlling expenses
  • Lead the development and execution of sales plans and budget initiatives
  • Engage in hotel sales efforts by meeting top accounts and potential clients
  • Utilize Windows operating systems, spreadsheets, and word processing for management and reporting
  • Evaluate and select among alternative actions to enhance operational efficiency
  • Ensure high-quality product and service levels by maintaining strong customer service orientation
  • Provide hands-on leadership to support, supervise, and guide management teams and associates
  • Motivate, coach, counsel, and discipline personnel to foster a positive and team-oriented environment
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including corporate, owners, vendors, and community leaders
