Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Prior work experience preferred but not required in food service such as restaurant or deli
- Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Adaptable to shifting priorities and rapid change
- Ability to interpret, understand, and follow instructions
- Ability to complete tasks timely
- Physical ability to move, lift, and carry merchandise up to 50 pounds
- Frequent reaching overhead and below knees, pushing, pulling, squatting, kneeling, bending, stooping, crouching, twisting with or without bearing weight
- Occasional climbing
- Continuous repetitive motion with hands and arms
- Standing and/or walking throughout shift
- Visual location and verification of merchandise and objects
- Potential exposure to weather conditions and work environment variations
- Exposure to cleaning solvents or chemicals
- Exposure to latex, eggs, nuts, soy, and wheat
- Employment contingent on PEP survey, drug screen, reference check, and background check
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Prior work experience in food service preferred
- Ability to master menu recipes and communicate needs to management
- Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Adaptable to different situations and shifting priorities
- Ability to interpret, understand, and follow instructions
- Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to move, lift, and carry merchandise up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform physical activities such as reaching, bending, kneeling, and climbing as required
- Ability to stand or walk continuously throughout shifts
- Ability to visually locate and verify information
- Willingness to comply with company policies and work environment standards
- Completion of PEP survey, drug screen, employment reference, and criminal background check may be required
Job Duties
- Support food service department operations including readiness, staffing, supervision, price maintenance, policies and procedures, inventory preparation, financial goals, cleanliness, and safe equipment use
- Support replenishment and inventory processes including ordering, receiving, invoicing, back stock, reclamation, returns, damages, supply use, and inventory preparation
- Adhere to proper equipment procedures including cleaning and maintenance
- Follow company and food safety production guidelines for fresh food preparation, production, packaging, weighing, pricing and labeling
- Maintain food service department cleaning standards using approved equipment and cleaning chemicals
- Define issues and utilize critical thinking and logic for problem solving
- Produce high quality products while adhering to personal and others' safety procedures
