Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in food service or grocery environment preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices
- Ability to follow instructions and company policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a bakery or deli environment is an advantage
- Ability to operate bakery and kitchen equipment safely
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work well in a team and promote positive work environment
- Basic math and inventory skills
Job Duties
- Prepare items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment
- Offer product samples to help customers discover new items
- Inform customers of bakery and deli specials
- Provide customers with fresh products and correct portion sizes
- Recommend deli or bakery items to customers
- Use all bakery equipment according to company guidelines
- Prepare foods following food temperature logs and cooking instructions
